Speedup New-Product Development With Web-Based Solutions

Flextronics International Ltd., a provider of electronic manufacturing services, will implement Agile Anywhere, a Web-based suite of collaborative manufacturing solutions from Agile Software Corp., at all Flextronics design and manufacturing sites. The multi-million dollar agreement will enable Flextronics "to collaborate instantly with all the partners involved in bringing a product to market, including OEM customers, internal manufacturing services, suppliers, and subcontractors," explains Michael E. Marks, chairman and CEO of Flextronics. Brian D. Stolle, chairman and CEO of Agile, says that Agile Anywhere will speedup new-product introduction and ramp-to-volume processes, thus enabling Flextronics to bring its OEM customers' products to market much faster.
