Chrysler Drops F-Bomb On Twitter, Gains Followers

Auto blog Jalopnik reports that the official Chrysler twitter account featured a post recently with some decidedly off-color language concerning the quality and skill of Detroit-area drivers. (Wow, I danced around that one.)

You can see a screenshot of the offensive tweet here (warning: mild NSFW language).

Ironically, Chrysler's follower number has gone up nearly 20% since the mishap happened. In this increasingly profane advertising environment where shock value sells, I'd expect to see more "mistakes" of this kind. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the guy who got fired for it finds a new job pretty quickly. Maybe as an intern for Charlie Sheen?
