Punching a time clock might be a thing of the past, at least in the way it was always done. The new InTouch time clock introduced on Nov. 7 by Kronos Incorporated looks and operates like a tablet.

The technology relies on the same "ease of use and intuitiveness of consumer-centric technologies," CEO officer Aron Ain explained.

In addition to time-keeping functions, employees can check their schedules, ask for time off as well order take out. The devics can also be used for training videos or news headlines.

Businesses using the InTouch can create custom software apps as well. The company hopes that its customers will share their apps with each other as well to increase the knowledge base.

Who could envision a basic time clock as way to connect people and ideas?
