Chinese Manufacturers Looking Into West Bengal

Automobile, chemical, bicycle and toy manufacturers are looking into investing in West Bengal. According to a report on Oct. 23 on zeenews.com, CPI-M politburo member Sitaram Yechury said that plans are underway to arrange a visit.

Fellow CPI-M delegation member, Mohammad Amin from West Bengal has held discussions with various manufacturing firms. The West Bengal government is inclined to invite these particular manufacturers to invest in West Benegal according to Yechury.

After Yechury led a delegation of manufacturers on tours of factories of automobiles, toys, chemical firms and bicycles in the Tianjin Economic Development Area, manufacturers expressed a willingness to visit West Bengal. The Tianjin area which is an up and coming growth center in Northern China.
