Instead of "innovation of the day," I sometimes feel like I should title this series the "no, I'm really not kidding" series. This design gives new meaning to the term "motorcycle jacket".

I discovered it courtesy of a story in the latest issue of GOOD magazine:

"Part exoskeleton, part motorbike, the three-wheeled vehicle runs on lithium-ion batteries boosted by ultracapacitors (which offer better acceleration). Worn almost as a jacket, machine is steered via "muscles" mechanized by pressured air and activated by the driver's gestures."

It's not exactly a new concept (the design has been around for a few years) but it's definitely interesting enough to warrant a second look.
