May 31, 2016
Small to medium-sized companies ranging from an environmentally friendly coatings manufacturer to a maker of high-performance nano-titanium are the recipients of loans and expert support from the Adopt a City program.

Eight small-to-midsize manufacturers in Northeast Ohio are the winners of loans and expert support from NASA to help solve challenges they are experiencing with a new or existing product.

The awards are part of Cuyahoga County’s Adopt a City Program, in partnership with the city of Cleveland, NASA Glenn Research Center, and the Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network (MAGNET).

NASA Glenn will provide up to 40 hours of pro bono assistance to each company. The city of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County will make low interest loans available to companies that need financial assistance. And MAGNET will serve as the project coordinator, helping the following eight manufacturers in 2016.
