How do your manufacturing operations data stack up against top performers?

Since 1990, IndustryWeek has been celebrating North American manufacturing excellence via our annual IW Best Plants Awards competition. During those years, these stellar manufacturing plants have shared with us their enviable performance metrics, even as they work to improve.

In this slideshow, we share some of those metrics with you. Specifically, these data we present are courtesy of our IW Best Plants winners and finalists over the past five years (2016 through 2020/21).

Given the diversity of manufacturing operations, direct comparisons can be misleading, but the data can prove useful as a general benchmarking reference.
