Fiscal 2013 was a solid year for the top 10 chemical manufacturing companies in this year's IW U.S. 500.

Fiscal 2013 was a solid year for the top 10 chemical manufacturing companies in this year's IW U.S. 500. Only one of the top 10 chemical companies reported a decrease in revenue. Similarly, only one of the 10 reported a drop in net income.

On the whole, revenue growth was solid and steady for the Chem Top Ten. And profit growth was downright robust: Two of the 10 companies—Dow Chemical and PPG Industries—posted eye-popping triple-digit profit growth, and four others reported double-digit jumps in net income.
