U.S. Customs and Border Protection wants to help businesses ensure a safe supply chain by hosting a supply chain security seminar on April 18 to 21 for members of the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program.

Discussions will center on the need to improve supply chain security by strengthening the customs/trade cooperative partnership. Participants will learn how to identify anomalies in the global supply chain. Further discussion topics include contraband smuggling trends, global terrorism threats, concealment methods and new C-TPAT security criteria.

The event will take place at the Hotel Inter-Continental Miami. Registration is free, but space is limited to 500 participants. On-line registration begins Feb. 14, 2005, at www.cbp.gov.
