Instead of relying on your work to bring you happiness, you need to create it yourself. 

There's no magical remedy for discontentment at work.  

If you're unhappy at your job, you have two clear choices: find a new job or make the most of the one you have.  

Dr. Travis Bradberry, president at TalentSmart, identifies ways that emotionally intelligent people make their own happiness at work.   

Simple things, like smiling more or laughing at yourself, he says, can make the biggest difference.
