CES is an exciting opportunity for technology companies of all sizes to come together and share their latest innovations with the world. Throughout the week 4400 exhibitors unveiled over 20000 new innovations. Naturally, many of these tech introductions will never gain momentum they need to become mainstream offerings. However, others will ultimately spark new technology categories.
“CES 2020 inspired and connected every major industry across the globe,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), owner and producer of CES. “The innovation unveiled at CES 2020 will reshape industries, create jobs, fuel the global economy and improve lives around the world.”
Many of the trends at the 2020 consumer-focused event actually echoed the same technologies impacting today's manufacturing environments including IoT, AI, augmented reality, wearable, 5G as well as quantum and edge compute capabilities.
