In the Spotlight: 2011 Best Plants Conference Slideshow

April 12, 2011
Operational excellence commands center stage at IW's Best Plants Conference.

Atlanta rolled out its famous Southern hospitality in early April for IndustryWeek's 2011 Best Plants Conference. Attendees were met with blue skies, pleasant temperatures and a jam-packed schedule of events designed to ignite the fires of operational excellence. Eight manufacturing facilities welcomed attendees to their plant floors. Five keynote speakers, two workshops and more than 30 conference sessions delivered a world of inspiration and education. Solutions Hall provided an intimate setting for attendees to meet with exhibitors, and networking opportunities included an evening at Turner Field. The home of the Atlanta Braves was decked out with food, drink, dancing, and pitching and batting cages -- providing both opportunities to relax or indulge the competitive spirit. Most importantly, the 2010 IndustryWeek Best Plants winners shared their inspirational stories with attendees and elicited enthusiastic applause during a formal awards ceremony.

Plan now to attend the 2012 IW Best Plants Conference, slated for April 23-25, 2012, in Indianapolis.
