Katie Takacs is the Industry Services marketing manager for the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP) at Georgia Tech, part of the MEP National Network. Katie oversees the strategic marketing outreach effort of three manufacturing-focused programs (including GaMEP) that assist industry in Georgia. Additionally, she leads the development and implementation of marketing-related programs and services to help small to mid-sized manufacturers with their marketing efforts. She has spent the past 10 years with the GaMEP and prior to that worked for Georgia Tech’s Professional Education department for six years as a marketing manager and spent six years before that working at different marketing agencies across metro Atlanta.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration and marketing from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University.
