Her practice includes preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the United States and internationally; opposition and appeal proceedings; strategic patent counseling; preparation of intellectual property (IP) related opinions (e.g., invalidity opinions, non-infringement opinions, freedom to operate opinions, etc.); preparation, negotiation and enforcement of non-disclosure, research and development and licensing agreements.
Gunjan regularly performs due diligence relating to IP assets, fully vetting the strengths and weaknesses of a company’s portfolio and exposing issues from offensive and defensive angles. She also has experience in trademark portfolio development, preparation and prosecution of trademark applications, IP licensing and acquisition, broad IP strategy and legal management, including the creation, exploitation and enforcement of clients’ patent portfolios.
