MAG Aerospace Industries Inc., a Compton Calif.-based manufacturer of aircraft sanitation systems and trash compactors, has been sold to Zodiac SA, a French aeronautical and marine equipment company. The $180 million transaction represented a return of more than 52% for Castle Harlan Partners II, LP, the previous owners.
MAG supplies sanitation for Boeing, Airbus and Amtrak, as well as railroads in many parts of the world, including France and China. .
