Chatsworth, Calif.-based Capstone MicroTurbines reports that its power systems recently passed the 3 million hour aggregated run-time mark. The company's microturbines are being used in a variety of commercial, industrial and municipal facilities to generate power and heat for on-site use. Benefits of the technology include ultra-low emissions and low maintenance (the microturbines have only one moving part).
