March Conference Focus Is The Fundamentals

APICS-The Educational Society for Resource Management will address the basics of supply-chain management at a March 9-11 workshop in Alexandria, Va., the headquarters location of the non-profit organization. The course will address industry fundamentals and provide an overview of success manufacturing strategies. Among the basic concepts to be addressed are: master planning, inventory management, forecasting, just-in-time manufacturing and purchasing. The workshop also will be held in June and November in Alexandria. The cost for non-APICS members is $1,140 and for members, $995. Discounts are available for teams.
