ByJohn S. McClenahen The U.S. Labor Department's Import Price Index fell again in February, although less than it did in January. Driven by falling prices for nonpetroleum imports, the index declined 0.1% in February, compared with a 0.4% decrease in January. February's was the eighth decrease in the past nine months. Meanwhile, U.S. export prices fell 0.2% in February, their fifth consecutive monthly decline. Falling agricultural prices were the main reason. Notably, prices for exports of capital goods were up 0.1% in February, after a posting a 0.3% decline in each of the two preceding months.
