IWLA - International Warehouse Logistics Association, has signed an agreement with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to work together to create safer workplaces at third-party logistics (3PL) companies. IWLA is a trade association with more than 500 members. During the next two years, IWLA and OSHA will work together to:

  • Educate warehouse employees on safety through education programs and voluntary inspection protocols.
  • Use media outreach and speaking events to promote safety.
  • Hold national forums and roundtables on safety.
The next step is for representatives from both groups to meet to write an action plan. Meetings at least quarterly are planned thereafter.
