Milwaukee-based automotive market supplier Johnson Controls Inc. recently honored 14 suppliers for innovation, quality, and service. "The strong relationships we've formed with our supply chain enable us to continuously improve our operational effectiveness," says John Pierson, Johnson Controls director of procurement. "This helps Johnson Controls exceed our customers' increasing expectations every day." Quality Screw and Nut, a hardware and fasteners distributor and manufacturer based in Bensenville, Ill., was named Systems Products Supplier of the Year. The company was credited with developing a consignment inventory program at Johnson Controls plants and updating procurement systems. Johnson Controls also recognized these 13 companies with the Key Supplier Award for excellent services and products:
