Manufacturers looking for help in this warehousing and distribution operations will have a new resource next week. That's because the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) will launch its Job Board on Sept. 3 as a new addition to its Web site. According to the Oak Brook, Ill.-based WERC, potential employers will be able to post positions for a nominal fee and look for talented individuals using a searchable database. Employers also will receive candidate responses via email. Job seekers will be able to search for jobs, post confidential online resumes and sign up to receive e-mail alerts about jobs that match their criteria. "Warehousing and distribution has evolved into a complex and sophisticated industry," says Rita Coleman, WERC acting executive director. "Employers and job seekers in this niche are the best resources to find each other."
