ByBridgeNews Firms in every part of the UK expect to take on more staff, according to the latest survey from recruitment firm Manpower ,Inc. Twenty percent of firms expect to recruit, compared with 13% a year ago. The rate improved in every region, the Manpower survey showed. However, it warned that the tightening jobs market was now leading to skills shortages. "Employer confidence is back on track for growth in the long term," says Iain Herbertson, managing director of Manpower's UK operations.
