An industry team will operate globally as Ryder-Aerospace Supply Chain Management, targeting aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and their tier-one suppliers as well as commercial airlines. Services for OEMs and suppliers will relate to demand and supply-chain management planning, purchasing, transportation management, distribution/warehousing, and geographic positioning of inventory to meet operating requirements. Ryder's Aerospace Supply Chain Management team intends to build on the firm's existing base of transportation, distribution, supply chain, and ground fleet solutions it now is providing to global aerospace manufacturers, commercial airlines, and airports. Ryder, global provider of logistics and transportation solutions, is headquartered in Miami.
