Hear real-world success stories and best practices in supply-chain management at a Nov. 17-19 conference presented by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). The conference, "Extending Your Influence for Even Better Performance in Your Supply Network," takes place in Scottsdale, Ariz., and examines the four networks that drive business: finance, informational, relational and physical. Only when those four networks are working in harmony can an organization develop a winning strategy, says Tempe, Ariz.-based ISM. ISM says conference attendees will:

  • explore competitive intelligence as a strategic weapon;
  • focus on lean cost engineering;
  • view a legal perspective to partnership agreements; and
  • gain tools for enterprise relationship management.
Attendees may also earn up to 11.75 continuing education hours for their participation. The event includes 14 sessions from which to choose. Additional information is available at www.ism.ws/Conferences/SupplyManagement03.cfm.
