P&O Nedlloyd Logistics has partnered with a company in Turkey to increase its overseas presence. P&O Nedlloyd-Anadolu Logistics is a joint venture between P&O Nedlloyd Logistics and Anadolu Shipping Inc., which has represented P&O Nedlloyd maritime container services in Turkey for many years. The joint venture will be based in Istanbul. Johan Nanninga, managing director of P&O Nedlloyd Logistics says, "The decision to follow up on existing network responsibilities from third-party service provision to partly owned structure follows the recognition that Turkey is a rapidly developing economy within the Levant and Black Sea region."
