The Electronics Supply Chain Association (ESCA) will hold its winter symposium, called "Fusion," Nov. 16-17 in San Jose, Calif. Event organizers say the symposium will focus on issues surrounding the synthesis of electronics supply chain management, planning and technology. The two-day conference will address a variety of business topics, including the latest electronics market updates, strategic Web services update, synthesized inventory (a melding of inventory management, vendor managed inventory, lean and Sarbanes Oxley best practices), and product management strategies. Among the companies scheduled to present are Hewlett-Packard Co., Solectron Corp., Flextronics International Ltd. and Intel Corp., according to ESCA. Through Oct. 15 early registrations start at $995 for non-members. ESCA members pay $650 per registration. For complete registration information, call 800-593-0557. More information also is available at the ESCA Web site at www.electronicssupplychain.org.
