Airgas B2B Site Offers Online Catalog, Account Management

Compiled ByDeborah Austin Airgas Inc. announced the rollout of a B2B Web site, b2b.airgas.com. Registered customers can browse an e-catalog of gases, welding supplies, safety products, and related MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) products -- including most of the 200,000 stocked items in Airgas' inventory. The site enables side-by-side product comparisons, with links to material safety data sheets (MSDS) where applicable. Through a "My Catalog" feature, customers can create their own catalog of commonly ordered products to check real-time inventory status, order status, customer-specific pricing, and past invoices. The site has been in pilot use since May. Airgas, Radnor, Pa., is a distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, as well as welding, safety, and related products.
