Drucker Keynotes Document Systems Conference

Peter Drucker, author of the recently released Managing in a Time of Great Change, will make a rare keynote address at Xplor '99 -- Xplor International's 20th Global Electronic Document Systems Conference & Exhibit. The event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from Oct. 31 to Nov. 5. Drucker will speak on Nov. 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Drucker will focus on maximizing an organization's knowledge base; a history of managerial innovation and ideas for the future; the evolution of management practice as it responds to monumental social change; and how to apply new management practices to secure an organization's future in the information age. "Maximizing and managing knowledge is a top concern for today's leading organizations," says Keith Davidson, president of Xplor International. "Drucker's insights into this area, as well as Xplor's focus on the effective strategic use of documents, will help Xplor '99 attendees leverage their organization's knowledge assets using the document as the central focus."
