ByBridgeNews Honda Motor Co. Ltd. says that it expects to produce and sell more automobiles worldwide this year than in 2000. Japan's third-biggest automaker, after Toyota Motor Corp. and Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., said it plans to sell 2.69 million automobiles worldwide this year, a 6.0% rise from last year. It plans to produce 2.65 million vehicles, up 6.7%. Honda sold 2.54 million vehicles and produced 2.48 million vehicles last year.
