Epicor Software Inc. has added functionality to Manage 2000, an ERP solution for make-to-stock, make-to-order and mixed-mode discrete manufacturers. Epicor obtained Manage 2000 as part of its acquisition of ROI Systems Inc. in July 2003. The new release -- Manage 2000 7.1 - features Microsoft's Web-based .NET user interface that allows manufacturers to combine real-time ERP data from the Manage 2000 system with data from other systems as well as information from the Web. It also is integrated with Epicor's customer-relationship-management solution and offers a business performance reporting (BPR) suite with business analytics, reporting and query tools. The new release is expected to begin shipping this month. Epicor has its headquarters in Irvine, Calif.
