Global management consulting firm Accenture has formed an outsourcing business to provide procurement services to large enterprises. The new business process outsourcing business is called Accenture Procurement Solutions. It offers sourcing-to-settlement services to corporations and government entities. Primary offerings include strategic sourcing, procure-to-pay transaction processing, supplier and contract management, and technology-related services. Len Sherman, a partner with Accenture, is the president of Accenture Procurement Solutions. Accenture Procurement Solutions draws on our proprietary technology-enabled solutions, global network of solution delivery centers and an integrated approach to strategic sourcing and requisition-to-pay processing, Sherman says.
