Blue Martini Manufacturing combines the firm's eCRM application suite with a system of business processes specific to manufacturing, and includes tools and services it says will help with rapid deployment. Core processes offered include:
  • Catalog and content management -- enabling manufacturers to create and publish catalogs from data sources across an organization;
  • Marketing and customer research -- data analysis and development of promotional offers, campaigns and loyalty programs;
  • Channel management -- to empower partner channels;
  • Customer service; and
  • Commerce -- making it easier for customers to check inventory availability, build quotes and buy. The solution is expected to ship in first-quarter 2002.
