  • VIACOM: Incorporating Diversity into Work-Life Initiatives Highlights of the SHRM conference include keynote presentations by Jennifer James, Ph.D., a cultural anthropologist, lecturer, writer, and commentator on diversity and cultural change; and Mae C. Jemison, Ph.D., the first woman of color to go into space in 1992, a NASA astronaut for six years, and specialist on the beneficial integration of science and technology into our everyday lives.
