Conference Addresses Workplace Diversity

Compiled ByTraci Purdum The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) will hold its Workplace Diversity Conference and Exposition -- New Challenges, New Opportunities -- Oct. 2-4, 2000 at the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel. The conference sessions will focus on the latest diversity challenges of the new millennium. Jemison, Ph.D., the first woman of color to go into space in 1992, a NASA astronaut for six years, and specialist on the beneficial integration of science and technology into our everyday lives.
