E-Solution Optimizes Flow Of Knowledge/Materials For Process Manufacturers

The program's features include:

Modeling capabilities for byproducts and coproducts.

Planning and detailed scheduling for multi-plant intermediates.

Campaign scheduling and product-change-over management. "Aspen eSupply Chain Suite rounds out the Enterprise Optimization of our customers by enabling them quickly, easily and accurately to share, develop and act on real-time knowledge gained throughout extended value chain and the enterprise, right down to the plant floor," says Larry Evans, CEO and chairman of AspenTech. Borden Chemical Inc., a Columbus, Ohio-based producer of industrial resins, has implemented the suite to complement its Performance Resins Group. "Our decision to implement components of the Aspen eSupply Chain Suite for our Performance Resins Group was based on their outstanding performance during the pilot phase of the project," says Edward G.
