The Industrial Environmental Assn., San Diego, will hold its 14th annual conference on Nov. 10 at the Westin Hotel-Horton Plaza in San Diego. The theme of the event will be: "Planning for Tomorrow: Corporate Sustainability." Sessions will address the following issues: strategic environmental management, air quality standards, corporate sustainability, biotechnology, water quality, the future of the U.S./Mexico border region, and hazardous materials. The keynote speaker at the Environmental Responsibility Awards Luncheon will be Paul Hawken, author of The Ecology of Commerce, and the soon-to-be-released Natural Capitalism: The Next Industrial Revolution.
