Compiled ByDeborah Austin GE Supply is now offering its customers a line of onsite materials management systems through a new affiliation with privately owned SupplyPro, San Diego, Calif., a point-of-use inventory management solutions provider. SupplyPro's Web-enabled systems for the maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) environment dispense and track stock while automating the reordering process. Products include SupplyAgent, a shelf-and-drawer system with a password-protected graphical interface; SupplyBay, a single-item dispensing solution; SupplyLocker, for large items requiring calibration or maintenance; SupplyScanner, a handheld wireless solution for managing open-shelf inventory; and SupplyPod, which retrofits to existing racking in an open-shelf environment. SupplyPort software lets users view real time inventory data via a standard Web browser. GE Supply, Shelton, Conn., is the electrical products distribution business of $125.9 billion General Electric Co.
