Sleuths from the Paris-based International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), which has just set up a special unit to combat cybercrime, are focusing on Internet abuses in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. "We will be a prime source of information for industry worldwide -- providing research, intelligence, training, and warnings about criminal methods and scams," pledges Eric Ellen, director of the newly created ICC Commercial Crime Services. Primary targets will be non-delivery of purchased goods, charges for supposedly free services, pyramid sales, and get-rich-quick investment schemes.
