Lockheed Martin Global Telecommunications (LMGT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corp., has broken ground on a 136,000-sq-ft plant in Valley Forge, Pa. LMGT provides network services and advanced technology solutions. LMGT, Bethesda, Md., includes the satellite, network, and product assets of the former COMSAT Corp. and the Integrated Business Solutions unit of Lookheed Martin. The subsidiary's new complex will include offices, laboratories, customer demonstration areas, a network control center, and employee amenities such as a fitness center. Four hundred employees will work at the plant, which is on 12 acres of land.
