The combination of PHARMASMARKET.COM's Web-based business model and UPS's fulfillment and distribution background is designed to help eliminate inefficiencies in the pharmaceutical supply chain and make the process more streamlined and profitable for industry buyers and sellers, says CEO Jay Alperin -- while complying with industry standards and FDA requirements. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in North Andover, Mass., PHARMASMARKET.COM serves the $150 billion domestic pharmaceutical supply chain industry. Atlanta-based UPS Logistics Group, which provides global supply chain management services, is a subsidiary of United Parcel Service Inc.
