Meat/Cheese Maker Orders Supply-Chain Services

After extensive evaluation, Boar's Head chose the Ross iRenaissance Enterprise Solution to support enterprise resource planning (ERP) and e-commerce -- addressing the firm's specific requirements and meat-processing industry requirements. The solution should generate greatest impact in areas of brand protection through support of hazard analysis and critical control-point quality initiatives, distributor support systems, and improved business intelligence, says Boar's Head CIO David Bowes. Privately held 95-year-old Boar's Head Provisions, headquartered in Brooklyn, N.Y., does not divulge revenue information. Atlanta-headquartered Ross supplies ERP and management software and e-business solutions for process manufacturing industries.
