The Product Development & Management Assn. (PDMA), Chicago, will hold its annual conference at the Westin Peachtree Atlanta on Oct. 3-7. The event will feature perspectives on new product development from senior management at leading corporations. Companies participating in panels, case presentations or group discussions include: AlliedSignal, General Motors, Harley Davidson, Sprint, Northern Telecom, 3M, Tellabs, Motorola, Proctor & Gamble, Kohler, Rubbermaid, Connectiv, Nextel, and Edison International. "This five-day event provides the latest information on product development across a variety of industries," says Paul Belliveau, president of PDMA. "Newcomers to the field as well as advanced practitioners, academics and service providers can benefit from the general conference, research conference, and workshops. Attendees will also have a chance to meet with product development experts and their peers for one-on-one learning and networking."
