Compiled ByJill Jusko Mitsui Plastics Inc. has chosen eUnify technology from Dharma Systems to provide the bridge between new custom e-commerce applications and existing AS/400 legacy applications. The eUnify product will automate Mitsui Plastics' Web-based order management by linking with its AS400-based accounting and distribution systems. "Dharma's eUnify technology allows us to continue to use our back-end systems without any modification while developing a Web application that meets our customers' needs," says Naoto Kihara, IT director at Mitsui Plastics. White Plains, N.Y.-based Mitsui Plastics Inc. is a subsidiary of Mitsui & Co. Ltd. and Mitsui & Co. (U.S.A.) Inc. Application integration-technology firm Dharma Systems is based in Nashua, N.H.
