Schaumburg, Ill.-based Motorola Inc.'s Land Mobile Products Sector has opened an on-site Child Care and Learning Center, and a Wellness Center at its Plantation, Fla. offices. The Motorola Child Care and Learning Center provides care for children ages six weeks through kindergarten, as well as early educational development programs. The Motorola Wellness Center is open to Motorola employees six days a week . It will offer weight training, exercise classes, and health screenings.

"Motorola's Child Care and Learning Center and Wellness Centers are designed to provide our employees the convenience of an easily accessible environment that offers the highest-quality child-development programs and encourages our associates to pursue a high-quality and healthy lifestyle," says Sam Desai, Motorola corporate vice president and general manager of the company's iDEN Subscriber Division.
