National Safety Council Plans Annual Congress

The National Safety Council, Itasca, Ill., will hold its 86th annual Congress & Exposition on Oct. 25-30. The event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Professional development seminars will include: Curbing Workplace Violence: The Human Factor, Establishing Cost-Effective Safety Programs, Fundamentals of Ergonomics, and Resolving Conflict Through Effective Communication. Many other seminars also will be offered. More than 800 exhibitors will participate in the trade show. Exhibits will be split into 10 categories, including: fall protection, fire protection and security, health risk controls, industrial hygiene, and production safety.
