New Certification Program Targets Management And Labor Relations

(NLMA) has launched a professional certification program aimed at bringing the labor-management cooperative process and high-performance workplace concept to a wider audience. According to the NLMA, a non-profit membership organization that promotes cooperation between labor and management, the program will provide the information and skills necessary "to transform operations . . . to productive environments with . . . positive labor relations." Paul Fardink, NLMA vice president, says the certification program will deliver the standardized training being sought in the workplace.
