Nextjet Offers Hosted Version Of Transportation Management Solution

The Dallas-based company has launched a hosted version of its transportation optimization and execution systems, Nextjet On-Demand. Users need only an Internet connection to use the transportation order booking, routing, tendering, event management and settlement functionality. The firm also has packaged its messaging network, Nextjet Connect, into the hosted service. Users can receive real-time updates on their shipment status via e-mail, Web or automated voice means with this network. Nextjet says customers can go live with the product within two months. Nextjet On-Demand covers all transportation order steps from instant quote and itinerary to street-level route optimization.
