Manufacturers can now share real-time quality data internally or across the Internet with customers in a secure manner with QA/S Gainseeker WebSPC from Hertzler Systems Inc., Goshen, Indiana. With this extranet solution companies can communicate statistical process control (SPC) data, report part or process Cpk values, and investigate quality levels at remote sites. Transcending disparate platforms, WebSPC allows users to save SPC charts and reports to HTML format so they can be accessed from a Web page with a browser. The system manager controls access to specific information via a password system.
