The software creates a complete business continuity and disaster recovery plan by assisting in the selection of planning content and in the generation of a fully formatted document. Phoenix 2002 incorporates the following enhancements:
  • It is network-enabled and operates as a multiuser collaboration tool. As such, it allows concurrent plan development across an enterprise and with participants in multiple locations.
  • It generates, houses and maintains a comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plan. Plan documentation is stored in the Phoenix Document Management Engine database on the host machine. It also can be saved in word processing formats, portable document format (PDF) or printed.
Phoenix 2002 is available for Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000 or XP. DisasterRecovery.com provides software, seminars and consulting in disaster recovery and business continuity planning. It is a Delaware company with headquarters in Ogdensburg, N.Y.
