Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) and Mannington Mills Inc. each have chosen Adexa's iCollaboration collaborative planning solution. By adding iCollaboration, TSMC -- a $2.3 billion dedicated semiconductor foundry headquartered in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan, with 11 manufacturing plants worldwide -- expects to improve customer satisfaction by driving greater efficiency through the manufacturing process and enabling quick response to changes in demand. Salem, N.J.-based Mannington, which manufactures flooring, chose iCollaboration to reduce cost within its distribution channel, and bring inventory to a minimal level within its raw material, work-in-progress, and finished-goods supply, while maintaining its customer service level. The 85-year-old privately held Mannington does not release revenue figures. Adexa Inc., headquartered in Los Angeles, is a provider of collaborative planning solutions for e-business.
