Shell Oil Selects IQNavigator

Shell Oil Products US has deployed the IQNavigator5 application suite as the platform to automate outside-services procurement and spend management. Via the implementation, Houston-based Shell Oil Products will automate a variety of processes, including supplier qualification, requests for proposals, contract and consultant selection, as well as invoicing and payment. IQNavigator Inc. says the solution's business intelligence capabilities will allow Shell's management to review historical and real-time purchasing metrics to optimize supply-base allocation, pricing negotiations and contract terms. "The breadth and depth of the IQNavigator solution will allow us to manage our contingent workforce and outside consultant activities electronically from the requisition stage through payment to suppliers. Utilizing one system, coupled with consistent processes across our company, will drive a faster return on investment," says Laura Mitchell, contingent workforce management category manager, Shell Oil Products US. IQNavigator5 is an open and scalable suite of applications for contingent labor, outsourced projects and direct hires.
